VIA Rail's combined Saguenay and Abitibi approaches Hervey-Jonction on its trip from Montreal. Once at Hervey-Jonction, the train splits with the Saguenay heading for Jonquierre and the Abitibi heading for Senneterre. Both trains serve remote areas and will stop anywhere to drop people and supplies off at remote camps. A pair of FP9s are in charge of the combined train.
