The engineer on a mining locomotive watches ahead as the train is pushed toward the mine's exit. The mine railroad would have been electrified during the mine's active days (it closed in 1972); the tourist train locomotive is battery-powered. The mine's heritage is Lehigh Coal & Navigation, which controlled the Lehigh & New England Railroad.
