Cotton Belt GP40-2 7653 shuffles cars as Amtrak F40PH 231 approaches the Oakland station in the street running in Jack London Square. The Cotton Belt and parent Southern Pacific had been absorbed into Union Pacific three years earlier. The Amtrak unit wears graphics for Operation Lifesaver.
